BABY ALERT LIMITED CUSTOMER WARRANTY
What this limited warranty covers and for how long:
Baby Alert International, Inc. ("Baby Alert") warrants that the product accompanied by this limited warranty is free from manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product. The limited warranty period also applies to any implied warranties that may exist under applicable law. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.What this limited warranty does not cover:
This limited warranty does not apply to: (1) defects resulting from repair (except by Baby Alert or its authorized service representatives) or alteration of the product, (2) defects resulting from use with covers, inserts, accessories, tightening devices, or other components not supplied by or expressly approved in writing by Baby Alert, and (3) defects resulting from misuse, including any use not in accordance with the product instructions, abuse, accident, neglect, improper maintenance or handling, or normal wear and tear.What Baby Alert will do:
If you believe the product is defective please return it to Baby Alert in the manner described below within the limited warranty period. If Baby Alert determines a defect is covered by this limited warranty, Baby Alert will, at its option, repair or replace the product or components of the product. This limited warranty extends to repaired and replacement products and components only through the end of the original limited warranty period.What Baby Alert and its distributors and resellers are not responsible for:
In no event will Baby Alert or any of its retailers, dealers, distributors or resellers be liable for incidental, indirect or consequential damages relating to the product (including any repaired or replacement product or component) or its use. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to you.How State law applies:

To make a claim under this limited warranty you must first contact Baby Alert. Please write to: Baby AlertInternational, Inc., 1920 Abrams Pkwy, Suite 104, Dallas, Texas 75219, or call 1.888.450.6725 or email Customer Support. You must provide proof of purchase in the form of your original sales receipt in order to obtain service under this limited warranty.
AFTER-IMPACT EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Baby Alert provides an After-Impact Exchange Program for child restraints that have been involved in a serious crash. To be eligible for a replacement child restraint you must contact Baby Alert within 60 days and provide information regarding the incident, including official documentation. If you are determined to be eligible, Baby Alert will replace your product.There is no state or federal law that requires Baby Alert to replace child restraints. There are state laws in California and Illinois that require the insurance company to replace the insured's child restraint if it has been involved in a crash. The after-impact exchange program is totally voluntary and Baby Alert is not obligated or bound by law to grant any exchanges. Baby Alert does not suggest that every request for an exchange will be granted and reserves the right to deny an exchange, or to modify or cancel this program at any time without prior notice.
